About Lesson

The shrinking feeling of staying small, quiet, and invisible when someone of “higher authority” is present. Eye contact is difficult if possible at all.

It’s the feeling of being invisible, not existing, or being real.

I hypothesize that this is where “Imposter” Syndrome comes from, but, I believe a more accurate phrase would be “Authority” Syndrome, which is the feeling that Authority is not something you are allowed to have and, should you have it, someone will put you back down “in your place.”
