About Lesson

Monet was The Painter of Light. He believed — and rightly so — that all color is pure light and thus, black would be illogical to use. He was correct from a Physicist’s stand point.

As a result, 100% of Monet’s paintings are done without ever using black.

The Water Lilies are his most famous of his works and consists of a number of paintings.

One thing that stands out to me about Monet is “The Monet Cake.” Monet was fond of a very specific desert that was so loved by him, it was called “The Monet Cake.”
