The 4th Ethic teaches us that, had you used Discernment, you would not be “Turning the other cheek” to begin with. 

Instead of Turning the Other Cheek, practice the 4th Ethic and deny them access to you. Self-Preservation is the 1st Ethic.

Practice the 12 Ethic, Forgiveness, while also remembering the 1st and the 4th Ethic. 

You must Integrate ALL of the Ethics.
